I'm using the PHP-FFMpeg repository to do some video work inside my Laravel application, but I'm encountering some issues setting it up. Once I've installed the PHP-FFMpeg repo, I try and create an FFMpeg instance:
$ffmpeg = \\FFMpeg\\FFMpeg::create();
However, this does not work. In response, I get an ErrorException that simply states:
Unable to load FFProbe
This does not make sense to me, as when I run ffmpeg and ffprobe from my Mac's terminal, I can see they are installed. This is clearly a path/resolving issue, but (...)

I am getting oga file from javascript blob and I want to convert it to PCM compatible wav file in python.
The approach I am using is as follow
AudioSegment.converter = r"C:/ffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg.exe"
AudioSegment.ffprobe = r"C:/ffmpeg/bin/ffprobe.exe"
sound = AudioSegment.from_file("file.oga")
sound.export("file.wav", format="wav")
For this I have to download ffmpeg locally.
Is there any way to convert oga file to wave directly.
This is how i am saving file
f = open('./file.oga', (...)

This is really an optimization question - I have been able to stream h264 from a raspberry pi 5 to a linux system and capture the streams and save them to .mp4 files.
But I intend to run the video capture and sending on a battery powered Pi Zero 2 W and want to use the least amount of power to maximize battery life and still providing good video quality.
I've explored many different configuration settings but am getting lost in all the options.
This is what I run on the pi:
rpicam-vid -t 30s --framerate 30 --hdr --inline --listen -o tcp://0.0.0.0:5000
I (...)

For a captcha solver I need to use FFmpeg on Windows 10. Warning when running the code for the first time:
C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Roaming\\Python\\Python310\\site-packages\\pydub\\utils.py:170: RuntimeWarning: Couldn't find ffmpeg or avconv - defaulting to ffmpeg, but may not work
warn("Couldn't find ffmpeg or avconv - defaulting to ffmpeg, but may not work", RuntimeWarning)
Running the script anyway while it required ffprobe I got:
C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Roaming\\Python\\Python310\\site-packages\\pydub\\utils.py:198: RuntimeWarning: Couldn't find ffprobe or (...)

I wanted to get the support information about the device as a string, but this function was completely abolished in ffmpeg 6
int avdevice_capabilities_create (AVDeviceCapabilitiesQuery **caps, AVFormatContext *s, AVDictionary **device_options)
void avdevice_capabilities_free (AVDeviceCapabilitiesQuery **caps, AVFormatContext *s)

I have a video that I created in Final Cut Pro. When i uploaded it to Youtube, it only maxes out at 720p. I would like it to have higher options like 1080, 1440 and 2160 even if the quality does not change. Maybe 2160 is impossible, but 1440p would be nice. I have tried this command, but the resulting file is unplayable, it only plays audio.
ffmpeg -i Hey\\ Girl.mov -vf scale=3840x2160:flags=lanczos -c:v libx264 -crf 13 -c:a aac -b:a 512k -preset slow hey_girl_hd.mov
I am looking for a command that would make at least 1080 and 1440 work on YouTube. If 2160 can work, that (...)

I am creating a rtmp server using nginx-rtmp-module inside a docker container. Using OBS I can connect with the server to start a live stream. M3U8 and .ts files are being created successfully but the .m3u8 file isn't in format I want. The generated .m3u8 file is like:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-VERSION:3
#EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:5
#EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:10
but I want to generate .m3u8 file so it is simialr to this:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-VERSION:3
#EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:10
#EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:0
#EXT-X-PLAYLIST-TYPE:VOD
#EXTINF:10.000000,
0.ts
#EXTINF:10

I use mingw-w64 on linux to cross compile the ffmpeg static library for windows with the following command:
./configure --arch=x86 --disable-doc --disable-ffplay --disable-ffprobe --disable-ffmpeg --prefix=/mnt/c/ffmpeg --enable-gpl --enable-nonfree --target-os=mingw32 --cross-prefix=i686-w64-mingw32- --pkg-config=pkg-config --disable-shared --enable-static
make -j16
make install
Then I got some .a files instead of .lib files. Can I directly link these files to MSVC? If not, what should I do (...)
