I'm working on a captcha solver and I need to use ffmpeg, though nothing works. Windows 10 user.
Warning when running the code for the first time:
C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Roaming\\Python\\Python310\\site-packages\\pydub\\utils.py:170: RuntimeWarning: Couldn't find ffmpeg or avconv - defaulting to ffmpeg, but may not work
warn("Couldn't find ffmpeg or avconv - defaulting to ffmpeg, but may not work", RuntimeWarning)
Then, when I tried running the script anyway and it required ffprobe, I got the following (...)

This is a head scratcher.
I need to move these three oddly-named files from an external 2.5" SSD to my desktop. The file names were intended to have variables replaced by date info, however, clearly it didn't work. So I'm left with these filenames that MacOS seems to want to interpret rather than treat as a string. I wish it was as easy as tossing in single quotes or escaping chars, but so far, that hasn't worked.
Files: Test01-$(internal:date_y)-$(internal:date_m)-$(internal:date_d)-.mp4 Test01-$(internal:date_y)-$(internal:date_m)-$(internal:date_d)-0001.mp4 (...)

I have a m1 macbook pro and I regularly need to do some heave processing with ffmpeg. When I do it, all my 8 cores go at it 100% and my cpu temperature goes to 92°C, which I don't feel comfortable about.
I don't really need 100% speed, I'd much rather see 80°C and wait 5x longer for it to finish.
I use Macs Fan Control which sets my fan at 100% at 75°C, so this helps definitely, but is not enough.
I tried ffmpeg -threads 1 parameter but it doesn't make a difference in compressing speed nor temperature, so I assume it just doesn't (...)

I have tried to split an mp4 file into smaller parts of equal time length like this ffmpeg -i ../data/2024-06-02_12-34-51.mp4 -c copy -map 0 -segment_time 00:00:05 -f segment v1_%03d.mp4. However, this produced videos of highly variables size, some 25x larger than others. I assume this was due to inconsistent framerate during recording.
Next, I tried a script that would split based and limit each part to a specific size:
#!/bin/sh
# Short script to split videos by filesize using ffmpeg by LukeLR
if [ $# -ne 3 ]; then
echo 'Illegal number of parameters. (...)

Is there a way to make chromium APks that do not contain libffmpeg and only load external libffmpeg at runtime?
I tried unpacking, unpacking, and signing the TrichromeLibrary.apk with apktool, but the trichromelibrary.apk didn't install to the board.

Using ffmpeg-go, I am trying to trim and mix (overlay) two audio files together. Currently I have this code:
func AssebmleAudio(music, effect string, userId int)
outputFilePath := filepath.Join(utils.GetRoot(), "users", fmt.Sprintf("%d", userId), "audio.mp3")
musicStream := Trim(ffmpeg_go.Input(music), 60)
effectStream := Trim(ffmpeg_go.Input(effect), 60)
Mix(musicStream, effectStream).Output(outputFilePath).Run()
// Mixes specified user audio and vinyl audio asset
func Mix(music, effect *ffmpeg_go.Stream) *ffmpeg_go.Stream
