.MKV to .MP4 choosing the audio and subtitles ?
11 décembre 2016, par Leo LettoThe following stream belongs to a .mkv file with dual audio ;
Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (High), yuv420p(progressive), 1280x960 [SAR 1:1 DAR 4:3], 29.97 fps, 29.97 tbr, 1k tbn, 59.94 tbc (default)

Stream #0:2(por): Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 192 kb/s
Stream #0:3(eng): Subtitle: ass (default)Which ffmpeg command should I use to create an output with the language in Portuguese, already with the English subtitles ?
I found some commands that can extract the language-based caption that I specify, but I didn’t find anything related to selecting the audio type.
This is the entire output from ffmpeg :

Concat two .ts files gets audio out of sync
14 octobre 2023, par Norbert PreiningI am trying to concat two .ts files using ffmpeg. The files look like

Part 0 :

$ ffprobe -hide_banner part0.ts
Input #0, mpegts, from 'part0.ts':
 Duration: 00:00:25.02, start: 1.408000, bitrate: 76 kb/s
 Program 1
 Metadata:
 service_name : Service01
 service_provider: FFmpeg
 Stream #0:0[0x100]: Video: h264 (High) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(tv, unknown/bt709/iec61966-2-1, progressive), 1920x1080, 50 fps, 50 tbr, 90k tbn
 Stream #0:1[0x101]: Audio: aac (LC) ([15][0][0][0] / 0x000F), 32000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 3 kb/s

Part 1 :

Input #0, mpegts, from 'part1.ts':
 Duration: 00:33:03.10, start: 1.408000, bitrate: 886 kb/s
 Program 1
 Metadata:
 service_name : Service01
 service_provider: FFmpeg
 Stream #0:0[0x100]: Video: h264 (High) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(progressive), 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 50 fps, 50 tbr, 90k tbn
 Stream #0:1[0x101](und): Audio: aac (LC) ([15][0][0][0] / 0x000F), 32000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 129 kb/s

And concatenation is done using :

ffmpeg -y -i "concat:part0.ts|part1.ts" -c copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc bla.mp4

But the concatenated file always shows sync issues between audio and video. I have been using these to concatenate in the past without errors, but now it fails.

Details about my ffmpeg :

Using ffmpeg option -video_track_timescale 25 produces a video with 1k tbn. Why is this ?
17 avril 2021, par DzsetiI am recording a live audio stream with an image using this code :

/usr/bin/ffmpeg -re -loop 1 -framerate 25 -i /var/www/html/slowwmo-images/sjw.png -i rtsp://media.vezer.uk:4444/nimble/audio -vcodec libx264 -profile:v main -video_track_timescale 25 -pix_fmt yuv420p -s 1280x720 -vf fps=25 -acodec aac -af aresample=44100 -f flv /var/www/html/slowwmo-live/live.ts

Why does
/usr/bin/ffprobe /var/www/html/slowwmo-live/live.ts
show 1k tbn when I need it to be 25 ?

Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (Main), yuv420p(progressive), 1280x720 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 25 fps, 25 tbr, 1k tbn, 50 tbc
