    MédiaSPIP ne modifie jamais le document original mis en ligne.
    Pour chaque document mis en ligne il effectue deux opérations successives : la création d’une version supplémentaire qui peut être facilement consultée en ligne tout en laissant l’original téléchargeable dans le cas où le document original ne peut être lu dans un navigateur Internet ; la récupération des métadonnées du document original pour illustrer textuellement le fichier ;

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • Simulating TV noise

    I have googled a bit but was never able to find an answer. What should be my first approach to simulate a video and audio noise from TV on screen ? I mean, when my TV antenna is removed but the TV is still on (like they show in Japanese horror movies sometimes). I can use ffmpeg or any other technique but what is the simplest possible form of the signal ?

  • Generate thumbnail for text file

    Suppose a user uploads a .txt or .php file, and I want to generate a .png thumbnail for it. Is there a simple way of doing it, that doesn’t require me to open the file and write its contents into a new .png ? I have ImageMagick and FFmpeg available, there must be a way to take advantage of that, but I’ve been looking a lot and no luck yet.
