• How to save file to s3 after processing by ffmpeg using carrierwave

  I am trying to convert the bit rate of the Mp3 file before uploading to S3, I can able to create version for the mp3 file but the version is not saving in s3 instead original file is uploading to s3.

• How to start a download when file is processing by a software

  I encode a file with a special watermark for be downlaoded by the user
  I would like to be able to start the downlaod when ffmpeg encode the file.

  I have a php page which one create the water mark , launch ffmpeg and start the download with X-sendifle
  The download don’t start, adding sleep(15) let’s the download start just I receive only what is done

  Actually I use Apache2 as the webserver with X-sendfile mod

  I want to push output of this directly to the user using PHP/Python :

  wget -qO- "http://my-video-stream-input.url/here" | ffmpeg -i pipe:0 -ab 192000 -acodec libmp3lame -map_metadata -1 -vn 1378457645_myfile.mp3

  The above command takes the input stream and converts on-the-fly it to audio without waiting for full-file to download, this works perfectly at terminal. Now, I need to push the ffmpeg processed output audio to the web-browser, once again on-the-fly without completing the full transcode, like :

  Wget->ffmpeg->Web-browser in real-time

  I tried the below in PHP but this results in 0 byte file-downloads :
