    I need to generate a script that converts videos to F4V's for use with Flash Media Server 4.5...is this possible ? I have it converting files to MP4s and then swapping the extension. This works fine, but seems like a dirty work around. I'd prefer to use a generate a true F4V. I've heard mixed things on whether or not ffmpeg truly supports F4Vs. Any guidance would be appreciated. Also, is there a doc guide on what file formats are allowed by FFMPEG ?

    we are building a website -for education purpose -and want to add streaming function on it

    


    our website like a social media platform so someone want to strat streaming (the media will be either from camera or screen sharing )

    


    from where i can start

    


    i have searched about this topic and i arrived at knowing the theortical steps to stream video
_ capture ,encoding , mixin ,send to server
but though i don't know where to start too

    


    i found tool called FFmpeg can do this but on windows platform and i think won't help.
