Gestion générale des documents
13 mai 2011, parMédiaSPIP ne modifie jamais le document original mis en ligne.
Pour chaque document mis en ligne il effectue deux opérations successives : la création d’une version supplémentaire qui peut être facilement consultée en ligne tout en laissant l’original téléchargeable dans le cas où le document original ne peut être lu dans un navigateur Internet ; la récupération des métadonnées du document original pour illustrer textuellement le fichier ;

ffmpeg installation on xampp not working
19 décembre 2017, par Mian MajidI am trying to install ffmpeg extension on xampp on windows 8.1. I copied php_ffmpeg.dll to xampp/php/ext directory, added entry as "extension=php_ffmpeg.dll" in php.ini file, and copied other dll files ( avcodec-52.dll, avdevice-52.dll, avformat-52.dll, avutil-50.dll, pthreadGC2.dll, swscale-0.dll ) in system32 and SysWOW64 folders of Windows. I restarted xampp, and computer as well, but no success, it is not appearing in phpinfo() list.
Kindly someone help me to resolve issue.
Thanks.

Pyglet and FFmpeg
15 mai 2018, par Yoann PietriI’ve been trying to play videos with python by using the piglet library. After installation, I tried the video.py in the examples folder. The following error occurred : "pyglet.media.sources.riff.WAVEFormatException : FFmpeg is required to decode compressed media". FFmpeg and AVBin are both installed on my computer. How can I make piglet work ?

Hikvision NVR video conversion ffmpeg
6 août 2024, par astralmasterI have a Hikvision NVR that stores security camera footage that I need to display on a website. I know that Hikvision uses proprietary H.264 codec that makes it impossible to play (coherently) in popular video players, like VLC, unless you install that codec everywhere you play it.

My plan was to transcode the video using ffmpeg to regular H.264 codec and AAC for audio but the produced file has the same issues as the original - no audio when playing and very disruptive video.
So the question is, does ffmpeg support encoding from Hikvision video/audio codecs ? Or perhaps should try to convert to different web-capable codecs using ffmpeg ?
My ffmpeg command looks like this :

ffmpeg -i C:\1.mp4 -c:v libx264 -preset fast -crf 30 -b:v 200k -c:a aac -strict experimental -movflags faststart -threads 0 C:\2.mp4

EDIT : What's interesting is that
ffplay.exe
opens and plays the original video files with no problem whatsoever, even on a computer where Hikvision codecs are not isntalled, therefore I figured conversion should be possible as well ?
