    I do not know whether it's suitable to ask this question here. If not, please tell me , thanks in advance.

    Recently I am working on FFmpeg for Android. Everything works well but its size is too large so I decide to reduce the size.

    I think I should at first only enable some encoders that I maybe use. What's common encoders and decodes on Android?

    In additional, I can use ./configure --list-encoders to show all available encodes.

  • Discard images from a group of similar images

    I am generating images (thumbnails) from a video every 3 seconds. Now I need to discard/remove all the similar images. Is there a way I could this?

    I generate thumbnails using FFMPEG. I read about various image-diff solutions like given in this SO post, but I do not want to do this manually. How and what parameters should be considered that could tell if a particular image is similar to other images present.

    Is there a way of forcing ffmpeg to encode each audio stream in a different thread?

    I mean only ffmpeg's own instruments, without multiple processes and other OS features.

    Normally, there is only one core saturated, so encoding a file with many audio streams is very long.

    fps is always around 3000/number_of_audio_channels, meaning all audio transcoding is done with the only thread.

    This question already has an answer here:

    I am using below command to create video from images.The command works fine for most images but for png images the video created cannot be played and I just get a black screen.

    Here destination file path has mp4 format.. Whats wrong with my command?
