  • ffmpeg video concate not working when one video is generated from a single image

    16 décembre 2017, par Sid

what I am doing is generating a video of 5 secs from a single image using FFmpeg.

for that I'm using the following command:

    -loop 1 -i image.jpg -c:v libx264 -t 5 -pix_fmt yuv420p -crf 25 -s 1280x720 Out.mp4.

Now I want to concatenate this video with another one.

I am able to do this for other videos with the following command

    -y -i input1.mp4 -i input2.mp4 -strict experimental -filter_complex [0:v]scale=1280x720,setsar=1:1[v0][1:v]scale=1280x720,setsar=1:1[v1];[v0][0:a][v1][1:a] concat=n=2:v=1:a=1 -ab 48000 -ac 2 -ar 22050 -s 1280x720 -r 30 vcodec mpeg4 -b 2097k output.mp4

But when I join the video generated from the image, the videos do not join as the second input does not have an audio because it is generated from the image. So is there any way to join these two videos using -filter_complex in FFmpeg?

  • decrypt AES-128 encrypted m3u8 TS files with ffmpeg

    16 décembre 2017, par Oli

i am trying to decrypt a .m3u8 playlist, I followed these steps :

    • create a directory
    • copy the key to a key file, ie my.key, and place it in the dir. Note that keys can be rotated, if the playlist has multiple keys copy all of them to different files.
    • copy all .ts segments to the same dir
    • copy and edit the playlist.m3u8 and use just the filename(s) for the key(s) URI(s) and segments.

and using this command to decrypt the playlist

    ffmpeg -i playlist.m3u8 -c copy output.ts

but i got this error : Invalid data found when processing input

    here is my m3u8 :

    #EXTM3U

  • FFmpeg formats list with alpha support

    15 décembre 2017, par user1722669

I am looking the list of FFmpeg codecs which support the alpha channel. seems that there is no description of codec list with alpha in FFmpeg.

I am interested only in decoding files with alpha, not for encoding one. Thank you.

  • How to convert audio files from mp4 to mp3 using applescript ?

    15 décembre 2017, par MBUST

Can someone please help me understand how to convert audio files from mp4 to mp3 using AppleScript?

I have tried scripting VLC or Sound Studio but the commands don't seem to come close to doing that. I downloaded and installed ffmpeg but I don't know the syntax to use.

I tried something like this with ffmpeg:

     tell application "Finder"
set CurrentPath to container of (path to me) as alias
set OriginalFile to CurrentPath & "ASProcessing:SoundToProcess.mp4" as string
set NewFile to CurrentPath & "ASProcessing:NewFile.mp3" as string

    end tell

set outputFile to POSIX path of OriginalFile
set inputFile to POSIX path of NewFile
do shell script ffmpeg something, something

But clearly I'm missing most of the script syntax. Eventually, I would do a repeat loop to go through a set of files.

Sorry that I can't be more specific. I'm pretty lost with this. What I do know is that I do not want to use Automator. I need something like AppleScript.

    Thanks.

  • ffmpeg filters image processing

    15 décembre 2017, par Ja_cpp

ffmpeg is applying some filters to the images before constructing the video. Is there any way to know those filters?

I'm using this command (so every parameters are kept by default):

    ffmpeg -framerate 12 -i frame%02d.jpg out.mp4

    Example of one frame:

    Image file:

    enter image description here

From the video: enter image description here

I'm working on image processing with c++ and I'm interested in the way ffmpeg filtering the images

    EDIT

When I launch the command line, that what I get in the terminal:

    ffmpeg -framerate 5 -i frame%02d.jpg output.mp4
