mpeg4
codec. It's vital that I can extract what type of frame has been encoded during the encoding process and that I can set a specific GOP structure. -
ffmpeg - Record Server Desktop Without Connection
21 janvier, par chrispI set up an application which uses ffmpeg to record a desktop on an Amazon AWS EC2 instance having Windows Server 2012 R2 installed. It records the desktop and puts the result into a file.

This works as long as a Remote Desktop or TeamViewer connection is active for that particular Amazon AWS EC2 instance. As soon as I close the Remote Desktop and TeamViewer connection the recording stops and continues as soon as I reconnect.

I assume that it's because the GPU doesn't deliver frames without a display in use.

How can I make sure that frames are constantly being rendered so that I can record them ?

libavcodec/alpha : remove DSP & support code
9 juin 2024, par Sean McGovernlibavcodec/alpha : remove DSP & support code
Introduced in 1992, the Alpha was a 64-bit RISC processor designed
to replace the VAX CISC machines sold by Digital Equipment Corporation. After Digital was acquired by Compaq in 1998 — who themselves would be
later purchased by Hewlett-Packard, the architecture was phased out over
the following decade. It became effectively defunct in 2007, the last
publicly available processor being the Alpha 21364.FFmpeg has not added any DSP code for this architecture since lowres2
was introduced in 2012, and it is more than unlikely someone still wishes
to maintain it.Remove the DSP and support code.
