• playing ffmpeg in android

  I am developing an android project in which i need to play ffmpeg format videos.I think android doesn't support ffmpeg formats.

  I have downloaded ffmpeg codec and loaded the library "libffmpeg.so" in my project using android ndk and JNI.

  Now,how can i use this "libffmpeg.so" to play those video formats.

  My project directory structure is like this.

  

  Any one please help.

• How to play audio file from URI using ffmpeg files in android

  HI all,

  I am working on playing audio from URI using ffmpeg shared library in android.

  I configured android-ndk and added ffmpeg shared library to project and able to compile the project using cygwin.

  In ffmpeg library i see ffmpeg.c file, i donot know how i can use this file to implement audio player in my activity.

  Please help me on this issue.

  I have try to implement the ffmpeg decoding library in my android project.Dowload FFmpeg.I got the ffmpeg library from the bambuser client version and unpack that into the project jni folder.Then i run the extract command(./extract.sh) in cygwin compiler tool(its becoz am using windows os) after that am trying to build ffmpeg library using the command ./build.sh

  I have googled a lot but i cant make it work. Please help me out from this.
