• How to install ffmpeg-php on CentOS 7

  I have succesfully installed ffmpeg on CentOS 7, but just wont succeed installing the ffmpeg-php, because i get the following error (this is when i do the ’./configure’ command) :

  But ffmpeg is compiled as shared libary..

  I have searched all over the internet, but cant find a answer. I hope someone can help me !

• What do the options in ffmpeg mean ?

  I don't understand what these options ( -r 30 -s 1280x720 -preset superfast -profile:v baseline) mean , searched but couldn't find , hope someone can help :

  


  ffmpeg -i rtmp://localhost:1935/stream/$name
          -c:a libfdk_aac -b:a 128k -c:v libx264 -b:v 2500k -f flv -g 30 -r 30 -s 1280x720 -preset superfast -profile:v baseline rtmp://localhost:1935/hls/$name_720p2628kbs


  


• FFMPEG and validating command

  I'm using ffmpeg with PHP to compress the size of some videos I upload on my website, but I also want to capture the error If something goes wrong during the process when executing the command.

  


  I have read that there's no way to capture the error, but I'm not sure if that's correct.

  


  I hope someone will help me out with this doubt I have.

  


  Here's my code :
