• Cannot play this video when converting format to .mp4

  I am converting video to .mp4 format, but when i convert video using ffmpeg using the following command :

  in some of the devices it does not run. The message which appears is

  Cannot play this video.

  Please help to sort out my issue.

• ffmpeg seek calculating wrong byte range ?

  I’m running into an issue while trying to extract thumbnails from a movie file at a specific timestamp. Generally I’ve had no issues with this, but I’ve come across a set of movie files that are getting an error about the byte range requested (416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable).

  The odd thing is that the server is correctly returning the content length in the partial content request, yet when it requests the movie file it requests a length that exceeds that.

  This is a bit over my head, so I’m not sure what could be happening here. Any insight would be great.

• FFMpeg SetSar value gets overriden

  I have a video concatenating application where In all videos are converted to the same format .

  I am converting 640*360 video to 1080*720 with setsar=1:1 as

  ffmpeg -i C :\Users\work\Desktop\Esocializ\B.mp4 -s 1080*720 -ac 2 -vf setsar=1 :
  1 -acodec aac -strict experimental B1.mp4.

  However for some reasons its value get overridden.

  Any help would be appreciated .
