  Piwik Mobile 2.1.0 is now available ! This new version brings better support for iOS8 and includes several UI improvements, bugfixes and new features :

  • Support for Segmentation [#3243] – you can now apply your custom segments in Piwik Mobile
  • Better support for Events
  • Clickable URL’s in a visitor’s actions list
  • Expose a general setting to configure SSL certificate validation [#4688]
  • Fixed the Real-Time Map was not working on Android 4.4+ [#4413]
  • List of all 14 closed issues

  We have also updated the underlying framework for better compatibility with new devices and improved performance. Another release to fully support iOS 8 will follow soon.

• capture my webcam and encode to mp4 with ffmpeg, but the x264 works bad

  here is my version :
  ffmpeg version : 2.3.3
  libx264 version:142.x

  I wat to capture my video and use ffmpeg and x264 to a mp4 file. the solution is 320x240.
  But i found that the video file is so big. Then i found that the P frame and B frame is very big, even nearly equal to the I frame.I do not know why.

  here is my code :

• ffmpeg to rip mp3 from mp4 in ruby

  Trying to make basic Ruby script utilising ffmpeg to download a video from Youtube and then rip the mp3 from that video.
  Problem is each time the script fails when trying to separate the two, even though the command themselves run fine outside of the.
  I think the issue is that Ruby is treating the video as a string, but I’m not sure.

  I tested it in irb and when I tried @video.class it returned string, I think this is where it’s going wrong but I’m not certain.
  The video does download successfully but fails on teh rip.
