  • Le profil des utilisateurs

    Chaque utilisateur dispose d’une page de profil lui permettant de modifier ses informations personnelle. Dans le menu de haut de page par défaut, un élément de menu est automatiquement créé à l’initialisation de MediaSPIP, visible uniquement si le visiteur est identifié sur le site.
    L’utilisateur a accès à la modification de profil depuis sa page auteur, un lien dans la navigation "Modifier votre profil" est (...)

  • Auto launch the video player in Android from the browser like an iPhone does

    I have just created and iPhone web app, which has some x264 (mp4) video files on it. When I link directly to the file on the iPhone and the user taps the link, the video player is loaded and the video starts playing.

    Using the app on an Android phone causes the browser to download the video instead of just playing it. Is there a way to force a video player to just boot up and play the video not download it ?

  • Why are Iphone videos upside down ?

    I have a video file captured using the standard Camera app copied off my Iphone5 using btsync :

    orig.mov: ISO Media, Apple QuickTime movie

    That plays upside down in mplayer or vlc.

    When I transcode it using AWS's elastictranscoder using a standard preset :

    elastictranscoder.mpg: ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, version 1

    That transcoded video file plays back the right way up.

    When transcoding myself, using ffmpeg I need to explicitly rotate the video otherwise the resulting mp4,webm files are upside down.

    So I am guessing AWS's elastictranscoder auto rotates the video somehow. However why is the video upside down to begin with ?

    I have an app that is build with very old ffmpeg library(Ver. 0.10.4). I found that when iPhone 5 decoding the H.264 stream with VGA resolution, the used percentage of CPU is about 10% lower then iPhone 6’s.

    The ffmpeg lib file only support arm V7 and arm V7s architecture. So I think that the function provided by ffmpeg will run faster or more efficency on the machine with the supported architecture. Is that right ?
