Filter text disappearing after concat, why ?
15 août 2018, par GemmaB89I’m trying to concatenate 2 videos, while at the same time adding some text to the second one. I’m using php-ffmpeg to do this, with the Sharapov extension, but I have the actual ffmpeg commands.
To do this it seems to encode the first video, then the second one with the text separately, and then joins them together. Problem is the text appears in the encoded (but un-joined) second video, but as soon as they are joined together it disappears.
Here are the commands :
ffmpeg '-y' '-i' 'video_in/first_vid.mp4' '-threads' '8' '-vcodec' 'libx264' '-acodec' 'aac' '-max_muxing_queue_size' '400' '-b:v' '1000k' '-refs' '6' '-coder' '1' '-sc_threshold' '40' '-flags' '+loop' '-me_range' '16' '-subq' '7' '-i_qfactor' '0.71' '-qcomp' '0.6' '-qdiff' '4' '-trellis' '1' '-b:a' '256k' '-ac' '2' '-pass' '1' '-passlogfile' '/tmp/ffmpeg-passes5b73814fa1e29qjif7/pass-5b73814fa1f5b' '/data/tmp/ffmpeg-7a580007c010377da19305b0836e7a4d-5b73814f9ff35.mp4'

So when I play ffmpeg-ed6a389106090a6a9f9c71c7c357400b-5b738244e2215.mp4, the text is in there, but when I play the output file (done_vid.mp4), the text isn’t there.
What’s going on ?

FFmpeg remove 2 sec from middle of video and concat the parts. Single line solution
15 janvier 2019, par Aaron BroderickI have a video file that is 22 seconds long.
I want to remove the segment from 10 seconds to 12 seconds.
Then return a concatenated video file of seconds 1-10 and 12-22.I want to do this in a single FFmpeg command.
This is the easy way
Source
https://www.labnol.org/internet/useful-ffmpeg-commands/28490/ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -ss 00:00:00.0 -codec copy -t 10 output_1.mp4
and
ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -ss 00:00:12.0 -codec copy -t 10 output_2.mp4
then create an input file with all the source file names and run
ffmpeg -f concat -i file-list.txt -c copy output.mp4
But I’m looking for a one line solution
Any help would be appreciated.

FFMPEG : concat demuxer errors during execution
1er novembre 2015, par lgaravagliaI’m trying to use the FFMPEG concat demuxer to create a "loop" of a single video.
I first tried running this command :
ffmpeg -f concat -i behzad.txt -c:v copy output_concat.avi
My input text file is as follows :
file 'G:\Masters_Thesis_Files\Honda_Database\Database1\Training\videos\behzad\behzad.avi'
file 'G:\Masters_Thesis_Files\Honda_Database\Database1\Training\videos\behzad\behzad.avi'The input file is in raw format.
After running the command I get the following output to the console and the video generated is just the first frame of my input video file.

Conversion failed!I also tried to run the command with the codec set to h264, rather than just copying the codec. When I ran this command the output to the console still had the DTS errors, however, my output video contained the entire input video rather than just the first frame. It did not repeat the video like I expect.
I should also specify, I’m running these commands in Windows using the latest version of Zeranoe FFMPEG.
I’m still relatively inexperienced with FFMPEG, is there some part of the process that I’m doing wrong ?
