• ffmpeg terminates without any output

  I am using ffmpeg to convert a video file to mp4. here is my code

  The code works fine on my localhost (Windows 7 + wamp).. But on live server , only $command is echoed.. and script is terminated. The output file is generated but it is only 4.5MB (it should be around 17 MB) and not complete... and sometime I get the following output..

  the value printed for $status is 137 in this case.

  Any help is really appreciated.

• Not able to configure FFserver for RTSP

  I am kind of new to the streaming world... so, please forgive me if I ask kind of dumb question.

  I am trying to stream my pre-recorded file over RTSP through FFserver.

  My config file is :

  RTSPPort 8544

  And now from my VLC client I am trying to type the URL : rtsp ://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8554/test.sdp

  But, what happens is that, there is no response on the ffserver.

  I have no clue what might be the problem. Thanks in advance.

• malloc error ubuntu ffmpeg server not streaming

  enter code hereI was following this tutorial http://jeremyblythe.blogspot.com/2012/05/raspberry-pi-webcam.html and when i run the following command from root

  ffserver -f /root/ffserver.conf & ffmpeg -v 2 -r 5 -s 640x480 -f video4linux2 -i /dev/video1` http://localhost:8090/webcam.ffm

  The camera is turned on and everything is fine, except it does not stream, i checked the terminal and it says the following.

  from video 1 i get the following error
  
  bind(port 8090): Address already in use

  when i another port like 5000 i get the same result
