  • FFmpeg performance on android devices

    14 juin 2017, par LemanRass

I’m trying to make an app for android via Unity3D game engine which will basically
    be a video player.
I decide to use FFmpeg library which i linked to my C++ plugin using Android NDK.
I’m trying to play at least HD video and i stuck on performance problem.
Retrieving each frame of HD resolution takes near than 40 milliseconds of time. 1000 / 40 = 25 fps which is already not good enough because i did n`t even wrote audio handling yet. But how about full hd videos ? Another video players on my device somehow playing full hd videos but i don’t even know how they do.

  • Anomalie #4107 (Nouveau) : Warning Zend OPcache

Warning : Zend OPcache API is restricted by "restrict_api" configuration directive in /srv/users/xxx/apps/yyy/public/ecrire/inc/flock.php on line 468

Impossible ensuite de se connecter (headers already sent).
    En rendant silencieux l’appel à l’invalidation d’OPcache ça fonctionne.

    @opcache_invalidate($filepath, true) ;
  • MP4 codec support in Chromium

    18 mai 2018, par Staggan

We have integrated Chromium Embedded Framework into our Windows game to allow us to render web pages from within our application, and everything works fine, except MP4 videos.

I understand Chromium does not include this codec due to licensing issues, but can anyone provide details on how we can add support, even if we have to license a codec for it.

All the information we can find seems to be old, and the functions referred to appear to be deprecated... so we are at a bit of a loss.

All the video serving networks we have spoken to appear to serve MP4s.. so changing encoding does not seem to be an option.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
