• ffmepg suddently stopped working

  Hi Im using ffmpeg jwplayer to handle my video uploads. It worked just fine untill I added a video upload to a new model. My video files gets uploaded to the database but i can't play them in my jwplayer. I also noticed that ffmpeg converts files to avi eaven though I've specifyed it in both of my models to convert files into flv.

  Here is my javascrip "error" :

• Why ffmpeg print SAR instead of PAR ?

  If my knowledge is correct, SAR (Storage Aspect Ratio) is the ratio of pixel dimensions.
  For example, a 640 × 480 video has a SAR of 640/480 = 4:3.

  Whereas PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio) is ratio of pixel height and width, and most of modern videos have square PAR (1:1).

  But when I tried to check it with ffmpeg -i I got square SAR instead of square PAR for all test videos.

  * changes :
  Remove rate component adjustment for AQ1
  Switch AQ1 segment basis from q ratio to rate ratio.
