MediaSPIP 0.1 Beta version
25 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP 0.1 beta is the first version of MediaSPIP proclaimed as "usable".
The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.
If you want to use this archive for an installation in "farm mode", you will also need to proceed to other manual (...) -
HTML5 audio and video support
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.
MediaSPIP allows for media playback on major mobile platforms with the above (...)

ffmpeg : simple RTMP streaming
2 avril 2013, par sajadI am trying to launch up a rtmp transcoder server using ffmpeg ; that receives udp MPEG-TS streams as input, transcodes it ; and generates an rtmp output to a URL, that can be accessed by users to receive and play the rtmp stream. All these are expected to be performed in a LAN and the output be accessed by all users.
1) First I don't know where the URL should point to. Is it enought to specify the IP of the system and some optional port ? Is it neccessary that a program should be listening on that port ?
2) How I can play the stream on the URL ?
I use a linux ubuntu machine whith IP=10.1.1.229 and I want to transcode multicast stream on this URL :
udp://@224.10.1.1:2001
.here is the command used to transcode input stream and generate rtmp url "rtmp ://10.1.1.229:2020".
ffmpeg -y -f mpegts -i "udp://@224.10.1.1:2001" -re -vcodec libx264 -maxrate 700k -r 25 -s 640x360 -deinterlace -acodec libfaac -ab 64k -ac 1 -ar 44100 -f flv "rtmp://10.1.1.229:2020"
and here is the command by which I am trying to play rtmp stream :
ffplay rtmp://10.1.1.229:2020
Any guidance would be helpfull. Thank you.

ffmpeg concat skips frames near end of each subclip
3 janvier 2024, par calvinusesyourcodeSo I have some video files to concat but in the resulting video the last few frames of each subclip are buggy. Imagine in the last 5 frames the first 3 frames are skipped and so at the end of each clip it seems to jitter.

It should be virtually impossible for my input videos to have any differences between them, as they were all recorded on the same iPhone and all converted with the same command :

command = [
 'ffmpeg', '-y',
 '-i', input_path,
 '-vf', 'scale=1080:1920',
 '-r', '30',
 '-c:v', 'libx264',
 output_path
 ]
subprocess.run(command, check=True)

I have tried re-encoding instead of merely copying and adding
-r 30
but that doesn't seem to work.

subprocess.run(["ffmpeg", "-y", "-f", "concat", "-safe", "0", "-i", temp_textfile, "-c", "copy", output_path])

subprocess.run(["ffmpeg", "-y", "-f", "concat", "-safe", "0", "-i", temp_textfile, "-r", "30", "-c:v", "libx264", "-c:a", "aac", output_path], check=True)

Somewhere someone said to open in VLC and do a frame-by-frame, reporting that "the frames are actually there, just not visually when watching normally". In my case the frame-by-frame reveals the frames are indeed being skipped.

Full console output :

UPDATE : I am thinking that the way I am converting my files from .mov to .mp4 is the problem. Please suggest the best way to convert from iPhone 4k 60fps .mov files to nice 1080p 30fps .mp4 files. I know I could just use handbrake but I am trying to be a man here xD. Perhaps handbrake has a

UPDATE 2 : re-encoding the videos before concat with

fixes the problem... which seems weird because that is how they were originally encoded...

Problems video playing in some android devices (version 4+) but not in others
5 juin 2014, par anquegifollowing the settings for video in android developers, http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/media-formats.html I encoded a video using ffmpeg like this :
ffmpeg -i gravityTrailer.mp4 -y -f mp4 -vcodec libx264 -profile:v baseline -acodec aac -strict -2 -profile:a aac_low -b:v 500k -ar 44100 -b:a 128k -ac 2 -r 30 -s 480x360 output_hq.mp4
which corresponds on sd highquality in table 2 from android developers (link above).
Then i put this video in a server and use the class android.media.MediaPlayer to reproduce it from that URL like this
https://cloudapp.somedomain.com/bmftvideos/output_hq.mp4
The problem is that the video is played on android version 4+
you can see the video on :
LG G2,
Sony xperia Syou cannot see the video on :
Samsung galaxy S4,
BQ (spanish) aquaris 4.5And I don not know why
