ffmpeg split video by 25 frames per chunk
15 December 2014, by Dmitriy DumanskiyI have videos with all i-frames within it and I would like to split it on small chunks with 25 frames per each. Is it possible with ffmpeg? FPS for videos are always different, but what I need is exactly 25 frames per every splitted file.

Reconstuct a video in exact same fps and bitrate as it was split
4 October 2018, by ishandutta2007This is how I had split into frames(jpg),
ffmpeg -i myvid.mp4 frame%05d.jpg -hide_banner
This is how I am trying to reconstruct(mp4),
ffmpeg -r 1/5 -i frame%05d.jpg -c:v libx264 -vf fps=25 -pix_fmt yuv420p myvid_recons.mp4
But I am finding the recombined video is slow by a factor of 150x.
I tries to expremint with fps optiob but found no improvement. -
Split large amount of wav files to small parts
23 January 2017, by Tadeáš PešekI have large amount of wav files (over 50 000) and I need to split every wav file to 10 second long parts. It’s nearly impossible to do it one by one, so my question is: is there any way to do it in ffmpeg or for example in sox? I’m an amateur, so I need exact instructions. Please, if you can, write it like you would for a dummy :)... (I’m a Windows 7 user)
Thank you!
