How can I generate a hls.m3u8 file using a youtube URL ?
8 avril 2021, par User0011I used ffmpeg in python and I was able to generate a hls file from a local mp4 file that i had on my computer, but now I want to know if there is a way to generate the hls file using a youtube URL and give this url to the input() function of ffmpeg in python ?
Here is the code I used for the first time, I want to replace test.mp4 with a youtube URL, is it possible ?
Thanks for the help

import ffmpeg_streaming
from ffmpeg_streaming import Formats, Bitrate, Representation, Size

video = ffmpeg_streaming.input('/Users/test.mp4')

_480p = Representation(Size(854, 480), Bitrate(750 * 1024, 192 * 1024))
_720p = Representation(Size(1280, 720), Bitrate(2048 * 1024, 320 * 1024))

hls = video.hls(Formats.h264(), hls_list_size=10, hls_time=5)
hls.representations(_480p, _720p)
hls.fragmented_mp4()
hls.output('/Users//hls.m3u8')

FFmpeg file not found exception, No such file or directory
16 avril 2020, par SagarI am getting the
No such file or directory
exception on video trimming.

video path :
/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Instagram/Fast & Furious 7 - Get Low Extended Version Video.mp4

file name :
Fast & Furious 7 - Get Low Extended Version Video.mp4

and ffmpeg searching for only
Fast
in/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Instagram/Fast: No such file or directory

I have found the issue, it is causing due to the file name having spaces in between them you can check in the above mentioned path and in exception.

after changing the file name its working but the changing name of every file from the device it's not the right way so how can I solve this exception

How can I copy metadata from source original video file to compressed video file like AV1 without reencode ?
16 août 2021, par MartinHero13I am just trying to copy metadata from original video file (1.24 GB) into AV1 video file (80 MB).
It did not encoded AV1 for FFmpeg, just I encoded to AV1 using by NotEnoughAV1Encoders.
So, any solutions for copy metadata from original to AV1 video file without reencode ?
