    Le chemin d’un document audio ou vidéo dans SPIPMotion est divisé en trois étapes distinctes.
    Upload et récupération d’informations de la vidéo source
    Dans un premier temps, il est nécessaire de créer un article SPIP et de lui joindre le document vidéo "source".

  • ffmpeg : unable to cut avi movie

    I am using ffmpeg to cut video file :

    ffmpeg -<inputfile> -ss 00:00:00 -t 00:00:30 <outputfile>

    It’s OK for different file formats exclude *.avi format. For avi movies ffmpeg shows that video is truncated, but output file contains full video (without truncating).
    Does anybody know possible ways for problem troubleshooting ?

  • Appending a list of movie MP4s causes the sound to be dropped or garbled at some point

    My process is in 3 steps
    Step 1) Corresponding to each bitmap I have 00.JPG ... NN.JPG I combine a list of "SOURCE" mp3 audio into a single audio mp3 to produce matching 00.MP3 ... NN.MP3

    I had glitch here where one my mp3 was not of the correct Sample Rate, however a kind soul in this forum helped me fix that.

    When I append a silent audio (mp3) to an existing list of audio it garbles the final audio ?

    Step 2) combine each mp3 from previous with a the filename matching bitmap to produce a movie .MP4

    IOW,

    • 00.JPG + 00.MP3 >> 00.MP4
    • 01.JPG + 01.MP3 >> 01.MP4
    • and so on

    From this run of 24 subparts, I hand tested some of these movies against Whatsapp and they are accepted fine.
    However, the final MOVIE.MP4 is not.
    I will list below their info from ffprobe.

    Step 3) combine the list of movies from previous into a final MOVIE.MP4
    This is where I have been having random issues typically with audio, currently this audio drops at about 20s from start. Corresponding to roughly movies parts 04.mp4 to 07.mp4

    I play the videos via VLC but Windows Media Player has even worse playback.

    I am able to reproduce Step3 and thus MOVIE.MP4 with following batch file

    I have not been able yet to reproduce the issue with a smaller set of movies, in the meantime if you would to get a copy I would have to upload an archive to a link so you can have them on your side.

  • correct way to download a mp4 [Audio only] file as a mp3 file via php

    I am asking this question because i found it impossible as far my knowledge stands. However i believe here on stackoverflow a lot of genius persons visits so maybe someone can give a good advice / trick.

    My problem is, I am downloading a audio/mp4 file of youtube hosted on googlevideo.com’s server.

    I can download this audio file but few mp3 players are not able to play it when i did some research on by using mp3val [mp3val.sourceforge.net]. I found this file do not contain sample-rate, bit-rate or some other required codecs inside the file.
    Error received from mp3val : Unknown file format

    I know one possible way of doing this which is ffmpeg but i am looking for a less time consuming option of doing this because first ffmpeg download the whole file and then convert it to mp3 and save it on server. It takes a lot of time.

    I am looking for a easiest solution in which, i dont want to save the whole file on my server. I want to call this file from remote server and want to add sample rate, bit-rate in the file and then just somehow with php i want to start download on browser.

    All i mean to say i need a faster solution. I have seen 2 yt to mp3 converter, They are doing the same thing, giving instant download. i dont know how ?
