  • How to seal subtitle on the video permanently ? ffmpeg

10 octobre 2017, par Robert Choy

I am able to add subtitle to my mp4 ; however, when i upload it on youtube, the subtitle is gone, disappeared.

So i am asking if there is any method to make the subtitle on the video (forever, permanently, seal it, burn it, force everyone watch the video with subtitle, can’t even turn it off manually)

    ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -i subtitle.srt -c copy -c:s mov_text -disposition:s:0 forced \
    permanently-subtitle-video-please.mp4

i dont like the design of youtube subtitle, so i would love to upload my video + subtitle as one thing.

sorry i a not an English native speaker, hope you understand what i am trying to ask. thanks

  • May I use OpenCV in a customized FFMPEG filter ?

    25 octobre 2017, par Codecodeup

I am new to FFMPEG and OpenCV. I hope to overlay a heatmap video on top of a video. There could be two solutions :
    (1) Make a customized FFMPEG filter. When looping over each frame, calculate the heatmap for that frame and overlay it with the video frame. Here, I need some matrix operations to calculate the heatmap. May I use OpenCV for these operations inside the FFMPEG filter ?
    (2) Generate the heatmap, using OpenCV, as a video and then use FFMPEG to overly the heatmap video on top of the original video.

Looks like the first one fits the FFMPEG workflow, but I am still not sure which solution is better, or if there are better solutions. Especially, I am not sure if I can use OpenCV inside FFMPEG.

    Thanks.

  • Encoder/Decoder PCM to AMR Android

    6 novembre 2017, par ElHacker

I’ve been looking for a while now for any java library that allows me to encode and decode a PCM-AMR audio stream that is sent through a TCP socket connection. Without having to use Android’s JNI.

Is there anything that can help me ?

In the worst case scenario. How can I do it using any C++ library with JNI ? (any reference of how to use ffmpeg with JNI will be appreciated)

    Hope you can help me.
