    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
    To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.

  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

    Jolie sélection multiple
    Le plugin Chosen permet d’améliorer l’ergonomie des champs de sélection multiple. Voir les deux images suivantes pour comparer.
    Il suffit pour cela d’activer le plugin Chosen (Configuration générale du site > Gestion des plugins), puis de configurer le plugin (Les squelettes > Chosen) en activant l’utilisation de Chosen dans le site public et en spécifiant les éléments de formulaires à améliorer, par exemple select[multiple] pour les listes à sélection multiple (...)

  • Handbreak ffmpeg encode vs decode speed (x265)

    I'm encoding videos in x265 to save same storage (Gopro, DJI, etc.). This is working well for me with Handbreak and I got some good CRF values for my use cases.

    


    My question is about the encoding preset. The slower it is the better Qualitiy per Bitrate you get, but the encoding time increases.

    


    But how the decoding time. Does it also consume more CPU power to watch (decode) a video which was created with a slow prestet then a fast preset ?

    You know those sport streaming websites ? Well I am trying to watch a game from one of those website... problem is I have awful wifi.

    


    I have access to the livestream video and I am trying to change the bitrate/fps to a higher quality for website embedding using ffmpeg. I understand for a video, this is more than possible, but how do you do this for a live stream ?

    


  • FFMPEG - RTSP : where does sprop-parameter-sets come from ?

    I'm encoding .mp4 video files (h265) with ffmpeg to create RTSP stream, put it to rtsp-simple-server and then after aler9's restreamer the stream is available to watch. I can watch the result in VLC (adding network source rtsp ://my.server/stream), but can't watch the stream in Android application - no sprop-parameter-sets headers exist

    


    So, the question is : where can I get these headers and how can I add them to the stream, so that everything worked ?

    


    P.S. if I add the stream to Wowza, these headers (sprop-vps, sprop-sps, sprop-pps) are added by Wowza to the stream, but I need to use the server directly.
