  Pour un fonctionnement correct et optimal, plusieurs choses sont à prendre en considération.
  Il est important, après avoir installé apache2, mysql et php5, d’installer d’autres logiciels nécessaires dont les installations sont décrites dans les liens afférants. • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

  To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
  You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.

• HTML5 audio and video support

  MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
  The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
  For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.
