  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.
    MediaSPIP allows for media playback on major mobile platforms with the above (...)

  • FFMPEG - why zoompan causes unexpected stretching ?

    14 septembre 2020, par Sarmad S.

    I have two images as input, both are 1600x1066. I am vertically stacking them. Then I am drawing a box and vertically stacking that box under both of the image. Inside of the box I write text, then I output a video that is 1080x1920. Everything works well, until I use zoompan to zoom in on the images, I get weird behavior. basically all input images including the box stretchs (shrink) vertically and no longer fit the entire height of the video which is 1920.

    The command (removed some drawtext commands from it) :

    -filter_complex
"color=s=1600x1066:color=blue, drawtext=fontfile=font.otf: text='My Text':fontcolor=white: fontsize=30: x=50: y=50[box];
[0]scale=4000x4000,zoompan=z='min(zoom+0.0015,1.5)':x='iw/2-(iw/zoom/2)':y='ih/2-(ih/zoom/2)':d=125:s=1600x1066[z0];
[1]scale=4000x4000,zoompan=z='min(zoom+0.0015,1.5)':x='iw/2-(iw/zoom/2)':y='ih/2-(ih/zoom/2)':d=125:s=1600x1066[z1];
[z0][z1][box]vstack=inputs=3"

    How do I fix this ? I want to zoom in without stretching the images

    Before using zoompan this is how the video looks like (I want to keep it this way while zooming in the images) :

    After using zoompan this is how the video looks like :

  • If conditions in a loop breaking ffmpeg zoom command

    6 mai 2017, par Sulli

    I have built a bash script where I am trying to zoom in an image with ffmpeg, for 10s :

    ffmpeg -r 25 -i image0.jpg -filter_complex "scale=-2:10*ih,zoompan=z='min(zoom+0.0015,1.5)':d=250:x='iw/2-(iw/zoom/2)':y='ih/2-(ih/zoom/2)',scale=-2:720"  -y -shortest -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p temp_1.mp4

    This command is included in a while loop, with two "if" conditions at the beginning of the loop :

    first=1017
    i=0
    while read status author mySource myFormat urlIllustration credit shot_id originalShot categories title_EN length_title_EN text_EN tags_EN title_FR length_title_FR text_FR tags_FR title_BR length_title_BR text_BR tags_BR; do

       if [ $myFormat != "diaporama" ]; then
           let "i = i + 1"
           continue
       fi

       if [ "$shot_id" -lt "$first" ]; then
           let "i = i + 1"
           continue
       fi

       rm temp_1.mp4
       ffmpeg -r 25 -i image0.jpg -filter_complex "scale=-2:10*ih,zoompan=z='min(zoom+0.0015,1.5)':d=250:x='iw/2-(iw/zoom/2)':y='ih/2-(ih/zoom/2)',scale=-2:720"  -y -shortest -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p temp_1.mp4

       let "i = i + 1"
    done <../data.tsv
    echo "All done."

    (I have removed stuff in the loop, this is the minimal code that is able to capture the problem).

    Now the weird bug : if I run this code like that, the video I am trying to generate will not be 10s long, only 1-2s long. ffmpeg exits with error "[out_0_0 @ 0x2fa4c00] 100 buffers queued in out_0_0, something may be wrong."

    Now if I remove one of the "if" conditions at the beginning of my loop (the first or the second, it doesn’t matter), the video will be generated fine and be 10s long.

    What could be the cause of this problem ?

  • FFmpeg error while adding watermark : Not overwriting - exiting

    10 août 2021, par Ryan Wang

    I'm implementing a video editing feature on my Flutter App using the Flutter-FFmpeg package, [Adding watermarks on video] specifically, while executing the code I got this error :

    E/mobile-ffmpeg( 5731): Not overwriting - exiting
D/flutter-ffmpeg( 5731): FFmpeg exited with rc: 1

    Most importantly, the output file cannot be played by the VideoPlayer. And it just LOADS FOREVER, the VideoController Widget shows that the player is buffering. I've tested My VideoPlayer widget, and it works very well on the videos that were not processed.

    Here's the code I'm using :

        await FlutterFFmpeg().execute(
        '-i video.mp4 -i logo.png -filter_complex [0:v][1:v]overlay=5:5 -c:a copy -movflags +faststart output.mp4'
    );

    A full log of the executing process in case it helps :
