    Accéder à la configuration et ajouter des langues prises en compte
    Afin de configurer la prise en compte de nouvelles langues, il est nécessaire de se rendre dans la partie "Administrer" du site.
    De là, dans le menu de navigation, vous pouvez accéder à une partie "Gestion des langues" permettant d’activer la prise en compte de nouvelles langues.

    I am trying to replicate this with FFMpeg. I have tried the following command.

    



    ffmpeg -i little-mermaid.mov -i little-mermaid.srt -c copy -c:s webvtt -start_number 0 -hls_time 10000 -f hls mermaid/Eng/master.m3u8


    



    This creates a WebVTT file but it is completely wrong and out of sync. See below.

    



    All the times have changed and it's removed the first two digits from each section.

    I am trying to decide if it just makes sense to convert the .srt to WebVTT and use that file without encoding with FFMPEG just create a .m3u8 file with -hls_flag single_file that points to it but not sure what implementation this might cause.

    



    Can anyone suggest how I could do this or where I might be going wrong?

    



    Here is the video file I am using if anyone wants to run the FFMPEG command above to test.

  • How to split a .mkv file into sound and video files?

    I have a mkv file which contains 3 streams. I use ffprobe to get the info of my mkv file.

    


    ffprobe ./demo/test2.mkv 


    


    I got this output

    The audio streams should be vocal and background music. I would like to extract them from the video.

    


    I have tried to do so with this command

    


    ffmpeg -i ./demo/test2.mkv -map_channel 0.1.0 -y ch0.wav -map_channel 0.2.0 -y ch1.wav


    


    However, it outputs the same audio file. Is there any mistake I have made? Thanks a lot.

    


  • I need to cut MP4 videos. A part at the beginning and a part at the end in a batch fashion

    I have several training videos. All .MP4s.

    I want to remove 3.5 seconds from the beginning and 4.5 seconds from the end of the entire folder of them...

    I know of ffmpeg and ffprobe - but my knowledge and mastery of them both is limited.

    Can someone provide a script for this, or, at least a program that will make this easy for me? I keep searching and I reach dead-ends everytime or scripts that do not work.

    I am also open to using Linux/Windows but not mac.

    edit: First part completed. Will keep on studying this command further in order to learn batch; Here’s the easy part, how to batch trim an entire folder of MP4s:
