• How do you compress a HEVC video to a smaller HEVC video with FFmpeg while preserving transparency ?

  I have a few dozen videos encoded in HEVC that have a transparent background. They have tiny dimensions, but their file size is comparatively large. I need to re-encode them as new, smaller HEVC files, but I am struggling to do so while still retaining the transparency.

  


  Is there a way achieve this ? Thanks.

  


  This is the closest I've managed to get so far based on other similar questions on here :

  


  ffmpeg -i "InputFile.mov" -map 0 -c:v hevc -c:a copy -tag:v hvc1 "OutputFile.mov"


  


  Update :
It turns out that the videos I’m trying to do this on use some sort of custom metadata for the transparency, and I can find no software that is able to recognise it.

  However they given example only for Anaconda

  


  I am not using Anaconda but I am using Python 3.10.11 pip venv

  


  I can't find these DLL files anywhere

  


  How can I find and install them into Python venv ?

  I am newbie in programming and need help.
  
Story and Question -> I have a m3u8 manifest like :

So, When I executed ffmpeg command
  
ffmpeg -i "https://someurl.com/my.m3u8" -c copy out.mp4
  
the following message appeared
  
[hls @ 000002de75f89bc0] Unable to open key file skd://xxxxxx
  
Now the question is, How should I address the key ? Should I save the key into a file and address it in the m3u8 manifest ? or any other answer ?
