• Video made from images using ffmpeg is not seekable in some players

  I’m trying to make video from images, used the following command

  ffmpeg -framerate 1/5 -i img%03d.png -c:v libx264 -vf fps=25 -pix_fmt yuv420p out.mp4

  as explained in the link https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Slideshow. But the problem is in some popular players if I try to seek the video, it plays from the beginning(video restarts from 0:00). How can I make a seeklable video ?

  does anyone know how to extract subtitles from a wtv file using ffmpeg ?
  i have tried many different commands. None of them works.
  the closest is this one

  ffmpeg -i input.wtv -vn -an -codec:s:0 srt test.srt

  But it complains Error while encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

  what does that really mean ??

• FFmpeg rtp streaming opus file problems

  i have the next situation.

  1. Have file on remote VPS server.
  2. I want that this file (opus codec) can be accessible through RTP on my android phone.

  3. I tried ffmpeg with next command :

     ffmpeg -ar 44800 -i bon_jovi_loverboy.opus -acodec libopus -ac 1 -ab 96k -vn -f rtp rtp://127.0.0.1:5004 -loglevel 56

  But got next error :

  bon_jovi_loverboy.opus: Invalid data found when processing input

  But when i try to connect by rtp from local PC (VLC Player) i get the exception :
