  • using ffmpeg.jar with android (in android studio)

    I’m trying to use FFmpegFrameRecorder in android. I tried all the possible configurations and still having java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: org.bytedeco.javacpp.avutil on runtime.

    I already added the files :

     - ffmpeg.jar
     - ffmpeg-android-arm.jar
     - javacpp.jar
     - javacv.jar
     - opencv-android-arm.jar
     - opencv.jar

    I tried from the javacv-presets and javacvbin

    I tried to extract opencv.jar and ffmpeg.jar and copy the .so files in the jnlibs and in jnlibs/armvebi

    Any idea what should be done ?

  • Using FFMPEG in a Visual Studio 2013 ultimate project, linking error LNK2019

    I’m trying to use FFmpeg library and TIFF lib in my project (I’m making a .dll and/or .exe also). I have searched through the answers provided in here and Google, and linked the /dev/include 64-bit (32-bit VS making 64-bit project) to Additional Include Directories and shared/bin (library files) 64-bit to linker->Additional Library Directories and did the Linker->Additional Depedencies->avformat.lib addition. I also copied the .dll files to my project folder, but I still keep getting the LNK2019. Here’s how I use the libs and the output of the compiler :

  • undefined reference to ffmpeg functions in native code using Android Studio 2.2

    I have a problem with using ffmpeg in Android Studio 2.2 using NDK 13 and new Cmake building system. FFmpeg version is 3.1.4.
    The system I’m working on is Linux Mint 18 64-bit.
    At the build time I’m getting undefined reference error each time I use ffpeg functions.

    My MainActivity.java :

    One thing I noticed that could indicate that something is wrong with ffmpeg build is warning WARNING: /home/tito/Android/Sdk/ndk-bundle/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi-4.9/prebuilt/linux-x86_64/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-pkg-config not found, library detection may fail. during building. I’m not sure if this may be cause of problems.

    I was trying to build for all of the ABIs, but for now I decided to focus on making just armeabi working. I’m having exact same failure after using e.g. arm64-v8a.
