    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.

  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • Le profil des utilisateurs

    Chaque utilisateur dispose d’une page de profil lui permettant de modifier ses informations personnelle. Dans le menu de haut de page par défaut, un élément de menu est automatiquement créé à l’initialisation de MediaSPIP, visible uniquement si le visiteur est identifié sur le site.
    L’utilisateur a accès à la modification de profil depuis sa page auteur, un lien dans la navigation "Modifier votre profil" est (...)

  • Ffmpeg color opacity

    I tried to rotate a video and keep the unused place due to the rotation transparent, to be able to overlay it later and to do that, I suppose that if the color was transparent is will be right ; and in the official page (https://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-filters.html#rotate) they said that you can give a color that ffmpeg would use in place of unused place due to the rotation of the video. So I tried, relatively to https://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-utils.html#Color to put a color with these commands

    ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -vf "rotate=PI/6:fillcolor=red@0.0" -acodec copy output.mp4

    and

    ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -vf "rotate=PI/6:fillcolor=red@0x00" -acodec copy output.mp4

    And it doesn’t work. The color remain opaque, and that whatever the value of the opacity (0.0 to 1.0)

    Any of you can know what is happened ?

    We currently populate the color encoding bundle and then check to see
    
if there's an ICC profile to attach, and set the color encoding bundle
    
in either case. The ICC profile overrides the color encoding bundle, so
    
we should not calculate enum-based color encoding if we have an ICC
    
profile present. Fixes several unnecessary warnings from being emitted.

  • Infrequent ffmpeg in Google Cloud

    Which service should I use for my Go program that runs ffmpeg in Google Cloud Platform ?

    The Go program downloads videos from my Google Cloud Storage and runs ffmpeg command to combine them into 5 minutes mp4 file. I use this program only around 10 times in a month.

    I thought of using a compute instance with GPU to get fast ffmpeg processing. However, because of infrequency of the invocation, I don’t want to run the pricey GPU instance for all the time. Cloud Run does not seem to support GPU.

    What service would you choose for such workload ?
