• ffmpeg, download video stream from url

  I am developing application to save any online webinar(video or audio) given the url using ffmpeg library. Url usually contain other contents like text, images as well. So i have problem, how to separately get video stream from url using ffmpeg(or some other better free library). Url may be for any site, not only for youtube, but as an example, link may be like
  http://wildkingdom.magnify.net/video/Dangerous-Moments-in-the-Wild-K ;recent or
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnrJJYm7qIw
  etc

• Download m3u8 segments with ffmpeg without writing the .ts files to disk

  I am trying to download m3u8 segments from an HLS live stream with ffmpeg without writing the .ts files to disk. I intend to run opencv on the image data in real time. Here is what I have tried, but I am only able to get one segment at a time and don't know how to just keep it in memory without writing to disk. When inspecting the network requests using developer tools on the Twitch site, I see the m3u8's arriving in real time, although, these don't work in the script. I have to refresh the page and get the URL of the first request that arrives, which is a URL not ending in .m3u8 (the one i'm using in the script)

• How to download/convert multiple streams to multiple outputs with FFmpeg ?

  Let’s say I have 20 different online stream videos (playlist.m3u8) and I want every video to output to their own .avi files. How can I do that in single file, so I don’t have to download and convert every single one separately ?

  I found a -map command online, but didn’t get straight answer to this.

  Will this be a working code ?
