    Dixit Wikipedia, XMP signifie :
    Extensible Metadata Platform ou XMP est un format de métadonnées basé sur XML utilisé dans les applications PDF, de photographie et de graphisme. Il a été lancé par Adobe Systems en avril 2001 en étant intégré à la version 5.0 d’Adobe Acrobat.
    Étant basé sur XML, il gère un ensemble de tags dynamiques pour l’utilisation dans le cadre du Web sémantique.
    XMP permet d’enregistrer sous forme d’un document XML des informations relatives à un fichier : titre, auteur, historique (...)

  • MediaSPIP en mode privé (Intranet)

    À partir de la version 0.3, un canal de MediaSPIP peut devenir privé, bloqué à toute personne non identifiée grâce au plugin "Intranet/extranet".
    Le plugin Intranet/extranet, lorsqu’il est activé, permet de bloquer l’accès au canal à tout visiteur non identifié, l’empêchant d’accéder au contenu en le redirigeant systématiquement vers le formulaire d’identification.
    Ce système peut être particulièrement utile pour certaines utilisations comme : Atelier de travail avec des enfants dont le contenu ne doit pas (...)

  • Java HTTP Live Stream segmenter

    A few months ago when I looked into HTTP-live streaming I thought I found a Java Library which can act as the segmenter to create a HTTP Live Stream. However, I cannot find it back. Is there anybody who knows about a way to directly segment the files ?

    Or, with iOS 5, if there are any libraries yet which can create the m3u8 files from a set of encoded files without physical file segmentation ?

    I have a server running the (Java) Play Framework and will use FFMPEG (possibly in a Java wrapper) to encode and now look for something to create the playlist files.

  • Stream live webcam AV feed to wowza using FFMPEG

    I have been trying to find out how to live stream my webcam feed to my wowza server. I am trying to make a web application in php that lets users stream live video through their webcam.

    I am confused, if i need to install FFMPEG in every user’s computer that uses my application or just installing it in my web server will do ??

    Thank you in advance. A little help would be much appreciated.

    I am building an c# application for live streaming. I am able to stream the feed from web cam to rtmp server using ffmpeg but unable to display it on screen at the same time.
