  • Error with LocalAudioFile(file) returns OSError : [Errno 2] No such file or directory

    5 mars 2016, par beriukay

    Much like the question here http://developer.echonest.com/forums/thread/3843#reply, I am having the following error :

    File
    "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/echonest/remix/audio.py", line
    944, in init
    sampleRate=sampleRate, numChannels=numChannels) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/echonest/remix/audio.py", line
    403, in init
    self.load() File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/echonest/remix/audio.py", line
    421, in load
    numChannels=self.numChannels, sampleRate=self.sampleRate, verbose=self.verbose) File
    "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/echonest/remix/support/ffmpeg.py",
    line 91, in ffmpeg
    close_fds=(not win) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 710, in init
    errread, errwrite) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 1327, in _execute_child
    raise child_exception OSError : [Errno 2] No such file or directory

    I checked input and output file permissions, made sure that both files and all related file paths existed, and that I have all the relevant python tools installed. The first clue is that Subprocess.py is having trouble. Looking at ffmpeg.py on line 88, I started playing around with the Popen function call to see how and why it was misbehaving.

    Solution :

    After messing around with the ffmpeg.py file, I piped the input to the shell (shell=True instead of shell=False), which raised the following error :

    check raise Run timeError(ffmpeg_install_instructions) RuntimeError: en-ffmpeg not found! Please make sure ffmpeg is installed and create a link as follows: sudo ln -s which ffmpeg /usr/local/bin/en-ffmpeg Alternatively, import echonest.remix.support.ffmpeg and modify ffmpeg.FFMPEG to name the appropriate binary.

    So, to finalize the solution, you need to get the binary from https://ffmpeg.org/download.html#build-linux, which in Ubuntu 14.04 means you just need to :

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mc3man/trusty-media
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
    sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
    sudo ln -s `which ffmpeg` /usr/local/bin/en-ffmpeg

    That should clear this problem right up.

  • How to convert swf file to pdf or mp4 file type [closed]

    24 avril 2013, par Rouge

    I am trying to generate images from many swf files. I have search web all day and tried some methods but still have idea how to do it.

    FFMpeg apparently won't do it because there is an error saying

    Compressed SWF format not supported

    when I use command line to convert.

    My last post.

    Generate image from a swf file issue

    Since I have generated images from mp4 and pdf files before, I thought I can convert swf to those formats first then using ffmpeg to get the images.

    I have also searched web for converting swf to pdf and mp4 but still have no results.

    Can anyone show me any tips about how to convert the swf files ? Thanks a lot !

  • Convert .mp3/.wav file into g729/amr/g711 codec file and vice versa using PJSIP

    19 septembre 2017, par NandhaKumar

    PJSIP is used for SIP Registering, audio/video Calling and supporting some other VoIP Call features. If you want to create an VoIP Application, you will create an application using their libraries.

    In this library, there are available lot of codecs and some of codecs are available as third party codecs and you can integrate into PJSIP library. Then you can able to support those codecs while calling another SIP user/client.

    Generally In mobile phones, the voice is record as audio file through
    mic and it has passed to PJSIP library. Then those codec/pjmedia library take care
    of other operations like converting into anyother codec format which
    they want to send.

    Instead of that, can we able to pass .mp3/.wav file into PJSIP library and convert it into codec files like .g729/.amr/.g711-u and vice versa

    I don’t about how codec conversion/codec engine internally works around.
    If you know about the codec conversion from .mp3 format is possible using PJSIP library, please suggest me how to solve this problem.

    Thanks in Advance !
