  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • ffmpeg errors in the daemon

    3 octobre 2020, par smoto_shei

    I created a shell script to compress a video using ffmpeg(4.3.1).

    ffmpeg -y -i \
 '/var/www/System/Backend/Outputs/TempSaveMovie/200703_4_short_5fr_p2(100_20)_r(50_20).mp4' \
 -vcodec h264 -an \
 '/var/www/System/Backend/Outputs/MovieOutputs/200703_4_short_5fr_p2(100_20)_r(50_20).mp4'

    If you run this code from the console, it will run without problems.
In fact, we're using the python subscript.call() to execute it. It works fine too.

    cmd = 'sh /var/www/System/Backend/cv2toffmpeg.sh'
subprocess.call(cmd, shell=True)

    Secondly, if I run it from a daemonized python program, I'll get an error. I get the following error.
You'll get an error like this

    I think the problem is when you run it from a daemonized process. There seems to be a similar problem in the past.
Ffmpeg does not properly convert videos when run as daemon
I would like to ask for your help to solve this problem. Thank you for your help from Japan.

  • Summer Hacking 2011

    28 avril 2011, par Multimedia Mike — General

    I recently learned that iD — you know, the famed game company — has a series of summer tech camps :

    All I care to know is : Where were programs like these when I was 7-18 years old ? Born too early, I tell ya.

    That reminds me that the Google Summer of Code, 2011 Edition is getting underway soon. I guess it’s like summertime computer camp for college-aged students. FFmpeg / libav is once again a part of the program with 10 slots awarded by Google. Here are the students, projects, and mentors.

    Wish them luck.

  • How to create a video in .net6 [closed]

    22 mai 2023, par mans

    I am trying to create a video from a series of images i .net core (6.0)

    I am looking for a solution like this :

    VideoCreator video=new VideoCreator("MyVideo.mp4");

for (int i=0;i<1000;i++)
{
     var image=getImage();
     video.addFrame(image);
}
video.close();

    I already tried these solutions, and I could not make them work or compile :

    OpenCVSharp

    This is compiling properly in .net 6 but is sot reliable when writing videos. I could get a blank video, especially if the getImage function took a long time to return an image (for example, 20 sec) and the above code is run in a thread. All in one : the system did not produce video reliably.

    AForge.net

    This library and its related library (Accord.NET) don't work on.net core. My attempt to use them did not produce any compilable software (for example AForge.video.ffmpeg or AForge.Video.VFW) are not available in .net core).

    So my questions :

    1. What is the best way to create a video in .net core reliably ?
    2.

    3. I am using .net core as I am using Microsoft ML engine, is the ML engine available for framework ?
    4.

    5. My target platform is Windows, is there any way that I can combine .net and framework applications/libraries ?
    6.
