Automated installation script of MediaSPIP
25 April 2011, byTo overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

Use promise.pipe for jQuery version before v1.8.
15 May 2020, by blueimpUse promise.pipe for jQuery version before v1.8.
jQuery versions before 1.8 require promise.pipe if the return value is used, as promise.then in older versions has a different behavior, see:

Hardware accelerated FFmpeg on android?
3 July 2012, by U AvalosI compiled an older version of FFmpeg for Android (if I recall correctly it was 0.6.X). FFmpeg decodes a video frame, scales it, then I'm using OpenGL to draw it on the screen. As far as I can tell, the problem is the decoding and scaling---they're not hardware accelerated.
My question is:
- Is the latest version of FFmpeg hardware accelerated for ARM (Android) processors?
- Am I going about this the wrong way? i.e., is there a better way of doing this? Where "this" is playing a h264 HD video as a video live wallpaper---the framerate needs to be high, so hardware acceleration is desirable whenever available.

why it is taking a lot of time to convert image via HTTP to video in ffmpeg?
20 April 2021, by al pacinoBelow is the ffmpeg i am using to convert images into videos but It is taking around 3 minutes to convert image to 5 second video.
If I run the command on Image present on a directory then it converts images to videos very swiftly.

can anyone tell what I am doing wrong ?
