  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

    Pour gérer l’ajout et la suppression de fonctionnalités supplémentaires (ou plugins), MediaSPIP utilise à partir de la version 0.2 SVP.
    SVP permet l’activation facile de plugins depuis l’espace de configuration de MediaSPIP.
    Pour y accéder, il suffit de se rendre dans l’espace de configuration puis de se rendre sur la page "Gestion des plugins".
    MediaSPIP est fourni par défaut avec l’ensemble des plugins dits "compatibles", ils ont été testés et intégrés afin de fonctionner parfaitement avec chaque (...)

  • FFMPEG command fails in php but runs in terminal [closed]

    I'm writting some logic that requires video manipulation, each time i try to run ffmpeg command with Process (or some other php in-built function for running shell command), the command fails with WARNING : library configuration mismatch but it runs without any warning on my terminal. Some tutorials suggest I unistall libavcodec-ffmpeg-extra56 or libavcodec-ffmpeg-extra57 on machine. I have done that still no changes.

  • Command works in SSH terminal, but not in PHP script

    I’m having a weird problem. I have installed ffmpeg on my server. When I run "ffmpeg" from SSH (PuTTY) it confirms the install :

    ffmpeg via ssh

    Then I placed the following code in a PHP file, inside a website on the same server :

ini_set('display_startup_errors', 1);
    
error_reporting(E_ALL);
    

    
$output = exec('ffmpeg -h');
    
echo "<pre>$output</pre>";
    
?>

    However when I run the PHP script, the page is blank, there is no output. I can confirm that exec is working fine, because when I run php -v | grep cli both in PHP and in terminal, they both output the same thing.

    I am using Plesk (web host edition) to manage the site, and have given it access to the server over SSH (/bin/sh)

    What am I missing here ?
