    MediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
    Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
    Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
    Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

    Les commandes suivantes permettent d’avoir des informations sur les formats et codecs gérés par l’installation local de ffmpeg :
    ffmpeg -codecs ffmpeg -formats

    La ferme est gérée dans son ensemble par des "super admins".
    Certains réglages peuvent être fais afin de réguler les besoins des différents canaux.
    Dans un premier temps il utilise le plugin "Gestion de mutualisation"

  • FFMPEG thumb creation error

    I've installed FFMPEG and using FFMPEG Ultimate, a class I downloaded to create thumbnail images of FLV's.

    It has been working perfectly even after upgrading to the latest release of FFMPEG last month. However it has suddenly stopped working. I had it working at 12:00 today (last thumb created at 12:02) then suddenly 30 mins later it has stopped.

    The other strange thing is I can retrieve FLV meta data using the FFMPEG Ultimate class, which leads me to believe that FFMPEG is working, but creating images is not working...

    Can anyone give any pointers as to how to test and diagnose FFMPEG, also can it suddenly crash for no apparent reason ? If it does how do you re-start it ?

    I am experimenting with ffmpeg and would like to generate overlay complex filter for audio with background image. The code normally works, except for when adding -filter_complex "[0:a]showwaves=s=1280x720:mode=line,format=yuv420p[v]" -map "[v]" -map 0:a
    it crashes. I found the example code at https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Waveform Any help is appreciated.

    EDIT 1 :

    I tested this with the new verson : ffmpeg -y -i input.mp3 -i background.png -filter_complex "[0:a]showwaves=s=1280x720:mode=line,format=yuv420p[v]" -map "[v]" -map 0:a -c:v libx264 -c:a copy output.mp4

    It generates an output file, but only the waveform, no background included. My end goal is to generate the waveform over the background.
