    Dixit Wikipedia, XMP signifie :
    Extensible Metadata Platform ou XMP est un format de métadonnées basé sur XML utilisé dans les applications PDF, de photographie et de graphisme. Il a été lancé par Adobe Systems en avril 2001 en étant intégré à la version 5.0 d’Adobe Acrobat.
    Étant basé sur XML, il gère un ensemble de tags dynamiques pour l’utilisation dans le cadre du Web sémantique.

    MediaSPIP transforme et ré-encode les documents mis en ligne afin de les rendre lisibles sur Internet et automatiquement utilisables sans intervention du créateur de contenu.
    Les vidéos sont automatiquement encodées dans les formats supportés par HTML5 : MP4, Ogv et WebM. La version "MP4" est également utilisée pour le lecteur flash de secours nécessaire aux anciens navigateurs.

    Am using ffmpeg to transcode the video with text watermark. Below is my command that I am using but it scrolls the text bottom left to right.

    ffmpeg -i /usr/home/test.mp4 -vf "drawbox=x=iw-42:y=0:w=42:h=ih:color=black@0.5:t=80,drawtext=fontfile=/usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/FreeSerifBold.ttf:text='Hello World':fontcolor=white@1.0:fontsize=16: y=(mod(2*n\,h+th)-th):x=w-tw-10" -codec:v libx264 -codec:a copy -strict -2 /usr/home/out.mp4

    But I want vertical scrolling top to bottom.

    Can anyone help in this.

  • How to show segment lengths of hls file with ffmpeg

    I’m trying to use ffmpeg to retrieve the segment duration of every segment for every stream of an HLS file. It looks like I can do this if I know all of the names of the individual files in advance and call ffprobe on each one. This seems really tedious and I won’t always know the names of all of the individual files, only the main .m3u8. Is there any way I can get all of this information with just one ffmpeg command ?

    Additionally, is the duration retrieved by ffprobe on a .aac file accurate ? I get the message that it’s "Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate".

  • Access webcam of sleeping Mac in ssh with FFmpeg

    I am able from my Macbook to ssh my remote Macmini which is ON (logged in and not sleeping) and use my webcam with a command like ffmpeg -f avfoundation -framerate 30 -i "0:0" out.avi however, when the remote Macmini is logged out (or/and sleeping) ffmpeg gives me an error that it cannot use the webcam Failed to create AV capture input device: Cannot use PC-LM1E. Any workaround ? I want to check on my pets while out of my house and would like to keep the Macmini at sleep.
