  • Streaming to YouTube from DJI-SDK [on hold]

    31 janvier 2018, par d0n13

    I’m trying to figure out how to take the camera frames in the DJI-SDK and push them to some form of encode so that I can create a live stream for YouTube.

    Has anybody got this working ? I understand most people use FFmpeg for streaming but my understanding is basic enough on how that project works.

    I’d love if somebody could share some resources on how we could go about getting this to work. I’ve seen the question on the web but I’ve found nothing that comes close to getting a solution for this.

    I need it for a project and there is a commercial solution available but it’s expensive and I can’t afford it and I’d be happy enough to code this if I can understand how to go about it and maybe get some help.

    I’d be happy enough to make an open source version of this is anyone can help.

    Thanks guys, hope we can make this...

  • Live stream prerecorded video to YouTube using FFMPEG with 4500 kbps bitrate

    9 avril 2023, par Rsan

    I tried various ways to make a live streaming script with a bit rate according to YouTube's recommendation of 4500 Kbps bit rate.
The code :

    ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i live1.mp4 -c copy -preset veryfast -b:v 7000k -maxrate 3000k -bufsize 6000k -pix_fmt yuv420p -g 50 -c:a aac -b:a 160k -ac 2 -ar 44100 -f flv -flvflags no_duration_filesize rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/(streamkey)

    and in my current code, there is an error when live : Use a keyframe frequency of four seconds or less. Currently, keyframes are sent infrequently which can cause buffering. The current keyframe frequency is 5.0 seconds. Please note that errors in the transfer process can cause the size of the GOP (group of images) to be incorrect.

    How to fix my code ?

    I've tried several ways, but the bit rate is still high, and the error is in YouTube Studio

  • Discord.py - Streaming Youtube Live into Voice

    4 juin 2021, par SUPER MECH M500

    I'm back on the stacks, was banned from asking questions because they were terrible apparently, but I need help on something I've done a lot of research on but cannot find my answer ;

    I need to be able to stream a youtube live stream's audio into a VC for radio music using discord.py Rewrite. I've been looking at Youtube_DL- and/or FFMpeg-related internet posts and all were either outdated (discord.py==0.16.x) or involved downloading youtube videos (can't do that with ongoing streams).

    And I've also tried to look through the discord.py v0.16.12 voice_client.py create_ytdl_player. But to no avail, I could not find any solutions.

    This is my current situation in my code. It is a background task in one of my cogs.

        @loop(seconds=5)
    async def check_voice(self):
        try:
            channel = await self.bot.fetch_channel(819346920082112532)
        except NotFound:
