• download compressed video from m3u8 link

  i'm making a python script to download videos from a site

  



  it's working perfectly but some videos are m3u8

  



  the links are something like this

  i'm trying to download mp4 or mkv file to watch the video offline

  



  i tried using ffmpeg and youtube-dl

  



  they only work after changing \/ in the link to //

  



  ffmpeg command i used ffmpeg -i "Link" -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc -vcodec copy -c copy -crf 50 file.mp4

  



  that's not the problem

  



  they download the full raw video file which is around 1.5GB

  



  but in the site watching the video take maximum 250MB at highest quality

  



  and the download is really slow for some reason

  



  it take almost 1 hour to download 1 video

  



  and at the end video don't open after finish downloading

  



  vlc say it's corrupted

  



  isn't there is a way to convert the link to direct link to compressed file link ?

  



  the site take 200MB to watch the video and loading the video is fast but downloading it from the link above take 1.5GB and it's soo slow

  


• Can not download a streamable m3u8 link with IDM and ffmpeg

  It's ok to play the link with play-hls-m3u8 chrome extension or by the site https://www.hlsplayer.net/ but I got errors when trying to download it by ffmpeg :

  I have tried to add some other command options but still got the same errors.

  


  Doing devtools inspect, I found
the .ts segment link redirected to another link that has the response header :

  


  content-disposition: inline;filename="unnamed.png"
content-type: image/png


  


  Is it normal ?

• Error Installing mobile-ffmpeg-full-gpl (4.4.LTS) via CocoaPods - 404 Not Found

  I am trying to install mobile-ffmpeg-full-gpl (4.4.LTS) in my iOS project using CocoaPods, but I am encountering a 404 error when CocoaPods attempts to download the framework.

  


  Here is the error message :

  It seems like the requested file is no longer available at the specified URL.

  


  Checked the official GitHub releases page for mobile-ffmpeg-full-gpl (4.4.LTS), but I couldn't find the exact file.
