    Dans le cadre de la mise en place d’une plateforme ouverte, il est important pour les hébergeurs de pouvoir disposer de sauvegardes assez régulières pour parer à tout problème éventuel.

  • Configuration spécifique pour PHP5

    PHP5 est obligatoire, vous pouvez l’installer en suivant ce tutoriel spécifique.
    Il est recommandé dans un premier temps de désactiver le safe_mode, cependant, s’il est correctement configuré et que les binaires nécessaires sont accessibles, MediaSPIP devrait fonctionner correctement avec le safe_mode activé.

  • VideoCapture always returns False in Python OPENCV [Linux]

    Every time that I use VideoCapture trying to access the frames from a video file, the return value (ret) is false. See the sample code below :

    cap = cv2.VideoCapture('asd.mkv')
    
    vid = []
    
    while True:
    
        ret, img = cap.read()
    
        if not ret: # Always happens
    
            break
    
        vid.append(cv2.resize(img, (171, 128)))

    I have already tried absolutely everything I could find today by googling, including the OpenCV guide and this long issue on Github. Also, I read some solutions involving moving ffmpeg dll files, but that only was in the case of Windows.

    Any ideas ? Because I defenitely ran out of them.

    I simply downloaded 5 mp3 files from here :

    which means i have :

    and then i create a simple hls playlist sample.m3u8 :

    It starts playing from the file sample-9s, and not sample-3s. So it skips the first two files.

  • Fetching MacroBlock information in FFmpeg

    I’ve a .mp4 file which contain h.264 video and AAC audio. I wants to extract MacroBlock and motion vector information of each frame while decoding. Please find my below Pseudocode.

    I have seen in other post mentioned that we can get MB information through MpegEncContext structure, but i’m confused were and how to instantiate object of that structure, how the MB data of the structure gets updated for each frame.?

    Ultimately, I wants to compare macroblock from one frame to other frame using SAD (sum of absolute difference) and trigger alerts if there is any distortion in macroblock level.

    I would really appreciate if anyone help on this.
