  • gdb and ffmpeg compilation

    I installed ffmpeg using the instructions of the web site ffmpeg : http://ffmpeg.org/trac/ffmpeg/wiki/UbuntuCompilationGuide, compilation works fine, they generates a file "ffmpeg_201207131721-git-1_amd64.deb " then, i excute " sudo dpkg-i ffmpeg_201207131721-git-1_amd64.deb". When I excute the command "ffmpeg-i-f toto.flv mp3-vn-acodec copy new_video.mp3" file "new_video. mp3" is well established. I would like to know what is the command "gdb" that I could use to find the file that have been consulted when i run the command "ffmpeg-i-f toto.flv mp3-vn-acodec copy new_video.mp3 "

  • Connection timed out error for ffmpeg libraries installation

    I am trying to compile ffmpeg on my centos server. Here is the link I am using as a reference :

    Here is the command I entered :

    git clone --depth 1 git://source.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg

    And this is the error message that popped up

    Initialized empty Git repository in /root/ffmpeg_sources/ffmpeg/.git/
    
source.ffmpeg.org[0: 2a01:e0d:1:3:58bf:fa76:0:1]: errno=Connection timed out
    
source.ffmpeg.org[0: 88.191.250.118]: errno=Connection timed out
    
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection timed out)

    PLease help why is it coming and what can be done to avoid

  • all pages of the same domain keep loading until background process finish [on hold]

    I upload video files to mydomain_1.com and once the upload finish I store info about the uploaded file in mydomain_1 database under table process_queue.

    I have process.php under mydomain_2.com that connects to mydomain_1 database and check if process_queue table has any new entries. If there is then process.

    notice we are talking two separate domains.

    the moment process.php finds a new entry it starts converting the video using exec with ffmpeg.

    while the process is happening I cannot access any page under mydomain_1.com. all pages keep loading forever. the moment the process is done on mydomain_2.com I get access to pages on mydomain_1.com

    I thought it could be a mysql connection issue so on process.php I used mysql_close($db) immediately after every call to the database.
