    Pour gérer l’ajout et la suppression de fonctionnalités supplémentaires (ou plugins), MediaSPIP utilise à partir de la version 0.2 SVP.
    SVP permet l’activation facile de plugins depuis l’espace de configuration de MediaSPIP.
    Pour y accéder, il suffit de se rendre dans l’espace de configuration puis de se rendre sur la page "Gestion des plugins".
    MediaSPIP est fourni par défaut avec l’ensemble des plugins dits "compatibles", ils ont été testés et intégrés afin de fonctionner parfaitement avec chaque (...)

  • FFMPEG creates incorrect Source duration

    When transcoding movies from an AVI to mp4 sometimes FFMPEG sets the "Source Duration" incorrectly.

    This messes up playback on IOS devices. Specifically, it causes the video to cut out at "Source duration" while the audio still plays.

    FFMPEG output transcode doesn’t’ show anything odd at all. Looks normal, no errors or warnings.

    • Can I force FFMPEG to never add the "Source Duration" metadata ?
    • How do I edit the track metadata shown by mediainfo ? I tried Mp4box, and a few others, but I can’t seem to figure out how to edit track level metadata.

  • Adding trimming option to Youtube-dl audio script

    This is the current script, it's a Windows batch file that prompts for a Youtube url and then downloads the best audio in m4a. It's basically cobbled together and uses aria2 to manage the download.

    After asking for the url, I want to also prompt the user to input the start and end times to trim the audio, which would be done by ffmpeg post download.

    The beginning and end times would need to be variables set by user input in 00:00:00 format, but not sure how to add the ffmpeg post-processing at the end or how it would all fit together. I want to add this trimming feature to remove some of the preamble on podcasts and get straight to the guest part of the show.

    


    The --embed-thumbnail is optional, and won't work anyway unless Atomic Parsley is present. FFmpeg often has trouble with Album Art anyway so I usually just use -vn on the final output file.

    This is essentially a re-implementation of

    That patch was not applied last time. Instead we opted to identify
    issues which could be caused by invalid subpicture layouts and remedy
    those issues where they manifest, either through error detection or code
    hardening. This was primarily implemented in the set
    https://patchwork.ffmpeg.org/project/ffmpeg/list/?series=13381.

    This has worked to some degree, however issues with subpicture layouts
    continue to crop up from the fuzzer and I've fixed a number of bugs
    related to subpicture layouts since then. I think it's best to return
    to the initial plan and simply check if the subpicture layout is valid
    initially.

    This implementation is also lighter than the first time — by doing a
    bit more logic in pps_subpic_less_than_one_tile_slice, we are able to
    store a tile_in_subpic map rather than a ctu_in_subpic map. This
    reduces the size of the map to the point it becomes possible to allocate
    it on the stack. Similar to 8bd66a8c9587af61c7b46558be3c4ee317c1af5a,
    the layout is also validated in the slice map construction code, rather
    than in the CBS, which avoids duplicating some logic.
