  • iOS- ffmpeg stop rtsp stream

    9 novembre 2013, par user2964075

I am developing an iOS application that streams rtsp feeds. My application can only stream one feed at a time. My question is how can I stop/close the stream so that I can load a new rtsp feed and start streaming it ?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Emulate radio stream metadata

    17 juin 2018, par IllidanS4

I work with an application that can connect to an audio stream via HTTP and play the audio. It can also connect to SHOUTcast and Icecast radios and play the streams, but for some radios, when the format is supported, it can read special metadata as well, like the name of the current song.

I would like to use ffmpeg to produce an MP3 stream that contains the specific metadata this application understands. I know it is probably something specific to SHOUTcast or Icecast and not to the format itself, but I don’t know what exactly it is that the application can decode.

If ffmpeg cannot produce such a stream (possibly because it is part of the HTTP metadata), I would welcome any details on how the metadata is encoded and how can I generate it (in PHP for example).

  • QMediaPlayer on Android

    18 août 2016, par Baradé

I know that the QMultimediaWidgets are not supported for C++. I am developing a native application for Android as well. Since I don’t use QML I need a way of playing my videos in the application. I want to use the QMediaPlayer since I rely on the signals and slots. Is there any manually developed backend which works on Android or a solution how I can render the video myself still using QMediaPlayer ?

Is there a way I can developed such a backend myself using ffmpeg or any available program on Android ? Will there be any update for this in Qt soon ?
