ftp upload then loop
23 juillet 2012, par thevoipmanI have a minor bash script loop I'm trying to learn and accomplish but it's giving me a hard time to comprehend with all the readings I've done.
I am uploading to a ftp server, then I want to check to see if the upload went through successfully by using wget spider method. If it returns OK then we're good, if not then I want to redo the ftp upload once more.
The code I have below are based on my research and learning from here. If I could be doing this better, please help me revise it so I can learn from it.
Thanks again in advance :
for ((i = 0 ; i < 1 ; i++ ));
do
wget_output=$(wget -q --spider "http://$FTP_HOST/test.jpg")
if [ $? -ne 0 ];
then
ftp -in $FTP_HOST <<endftp user="user" binary="binary" put="put" bye="bye" endftp="endftp" else="else" echo="echo" code="code" fi="fi" done="done"></endftp>code>My errors when executing is :
line 28: syntax error: unexpected end of file

SETX is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file [duplicate]
6 avril 2020, par anonymous(skip this paragraph if you don't care about context) : So I was trying to record inside of Minecraft using the replay mod, and to render a video I have to install this thing called ffmpeg to render it, and my fears were correct, SETX is not recognized.

So, a while back I had to redo my javac because that wasn't recognized, but when I did get that fixed, it made all my other commands toast, except the basic ones like "copy" or "del". I don't know how, I'd assume I'd need to manually input the path variable and everything because I doubt I could even find anything in the system variables for it, but that may not be the case. Suggest some YouTube vids, or a thorough and non-complicated explanation if you can, because for some reason, some instructions go through one ear and out the other.

I also posted this in /r/feedthebeast, but I doubt anyone will find a solution there.

Thanks.

Recursively Converting FLAC to MP3 Using FFmpeg While Maintaining Metadata and Directory Structure on Windows
20 mars 2017, par elgo2006I’m trying to use FFmpeg to convert all of the .flac’s in my music library to .mp3’s while maintaining the metadata and directory structure of the original files. I’ve got everything working so far except for maintaining the directory structure.
So far I have :
@echo off
rem Copies the original directory structure from F:\Music to D:\Music
xcopy /T %1 %2
rem Recursively converts files with .flac extension from F:\Music to .mp3 in D:\Music
for /R %1 %%i in (*.flac) do (
echo Currently converting "%%~nxi"
ffmpeg -v quiet -i "%%i" -q:a 0 -map_metadata 0 -id3v2_version 3 -write_id3v1 1 "%2\%%~ni.mp3"
)
echo Completed.
pauseI feel like my issue is coming from having my FFmpeg output as
"%2\%%~ni.mp3"
, however I can’t get it to maintain the original directory structure. I have played around with dpni as options for the output, but then it does not convert correctly.The .bat is being executed from the command line as
convert F:\Music D:\Music
All music in the original directory has the structure F :\Music\Artist Name\Album Name\Song.flac and I want it to end up as D :\Music\Artist Name\Album Name\Song.mp3.
Alternatively, is there a way to convert the .flac to an .mp3 within the same directory as the source file and then delete the flac ?
