• FFMPEG Streaming Issue - "Connection Failed : I/O Error"

  For a fun project I wanted to see if I could create an SRT stream from an active SDI input (1080i59.94) on a BMD Decklink Quad card. Whenever I try to execute my syntax, I get the following prompt "Connection to srt ://127.0.0.1:1234 failed : I/O error"
Is there anyway to use a debug mode and get more details about what is causing this ? I am very new to FFMPEG and obviously clueless. This is the syntax I am trying to execute -

  Instead of using an SDI input from my BMD card, I also tried to use a local mp4 file on my PC but I get the same prompt. Note - I am running FFMPEG on a Windows 10 PC.

  avformat/matroskaenc : Don't write empty language
  According to the new EBML specifications, a string element of length
  
  zero would be read as the default value by a compliant parser.

• can i set set language of a subtitle to english forced

  i have a file with 4 subtitles : german, english, german forced, and english forced. However they are shown as

  



  title 1 [English]
title 2 [German]
title 3 [English]
title 4 [German]


  



  i woud like to make the forced ones recognizable as such. Of course i could set -metadata:s:s:3 title="English forced" but then it would be shown as English forced [English] and i wonder if i could also set the language somehow so that it is called 
title 3 [English forced] or similar ?
