• Trying to convert an RTSP stream to a HSL file, but get a "Failed to Open Segment" error

  These are the linux commands I ran on ubuntu 20.04 to convert an rtsp stream to a HLS file. I was trying to then display it onto my html webserver to run a live video but I'm stuck at an error.

  I'm using an example from this link :

  I try to generate my file into a directory located in my desktop called fmpegsolution (hence the output path Home/Desktop/fmpegsolution)

  


  The error :

  


  When running this on terminal, the error comes out to :
[segment @ 0x558c82e11ec0] Opening 'Home/Desktop/fmpegsolution/000.ts' for writing [segment @ 0x558c82e11ec0] Failed to open segment 'Home/Desktop/fmpegsolution/000.ts' Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): No such file or directory

  


  My issue is related to the folder or directory but it definitely exists. I even tried creating a "%3d.ts" blank file (000.ts) but that had no effect. Could use some help. Thanks for your time.

  I am attempting to use ffmpeg in a script that take screenshots of a video in my directory and I keep getting the following errors :

  Below is the code snippet from 'prep.py' where the error occurs above.

  The error message does not mention what file it is unable to find so debugging this issue has proven challenging. I am using Windows 10 and I have tried 'cmd', Git-Bash, and PowerShell. I am also using Python Version 3.9.6. Any tips or ideas on how I can debug this issue and get it fixed ?

  


• The Mystery of the No such file or directory exception

  No idea what's going on here. Set a breakpoint after the for of loop in the following function. temp/concat.txt exists but the following exception is thrown :
