    Jolie sélection multiple
    Le plugin Chosen permet d’améliorer l’ergonomie des champs de sélection multiple. Voir les deux images suivantes pour comparer.
    Il suffit pour cela d’activer le plugin Chosen (Configuration générale du site > Gestion des plugins), puis de configurer le plugin (Les squelettes > Chosen) en activant l’utilisation de Chosen dans le site public et en spécifiant les éléments de formulaires à améliorer, par exemple select[multiple] pour les listes à sélection multiple (...)

  • Dash JS Player Cross Browser Compatibility

    I am conducting a research for my company streaming service. I found dash.js for adaptive streaming which is a perfect solution along with ffMpeg for transcoding.

    So how this solution works is to create bunch of files served in .mpd format. Now the questions I have :

    1. Do you think this a early stage and I should wait before start using DASH.JS ? Do you think there is a better solution for safe and fast streaming ?

    2. Player options : So far the only player I found was this http://dashif.org/reference/players/javascript/1.0.0/

      I have no idea how compatible it is with browsers and what limits I’ll be facing if I chose it. Is there any other solid solution for this ?

    3. Do you guys think I’m going wrong direction for this ?

    4. What are my server requirements to run these technologies ? I have a 500MBs, 64GB Ram, 24 Core, 2TB beast, does this do the job ?

  • Using ffmpeg to encode web dash and audio drift

    I’m trying to use ffmpeg to create webm-dash encoded files from a usb web cam. Adapted from this example http://wiki.webmproject.org/adaptive-streaming/instructions-to-do-webm-live-streaming-via-dash

    I have managed to get something nearly works with the following command :

    ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -framerate 30 -s 640x360 -i /dev/video0
    -thread_queue_size 512 -f alsa -ar 44100 -ac 2 -i hw:2 -map 0:0 -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:v libvpx-vp9 -s 640x360 -keyint_min 60 -g 60 -speed 6 -tile-columns 4 -frame-parallel
    1 -threads 8 -static-thresh 0 -max-intra-rate 300 -deadline realtime
    -lag-in-frames 0 -error-resilient 1 -f webm_chunk -header video_360.hdr" -chunk_start_index 1 video_360_%d.chk -map 1:0 -c:a libvorbis -b:a 128k -ar 44100

    However over a period of time the audio chunks slowly get behind the video chunks, can anyone suggest a way to ensure they stay the same.

  • Is it possible to pipe an ffmpeg output with multiple files (HLS or DASH)

    I'm using FFmpeg to generate fragmented MP4s in a dash and HLS format.

    


    ffmpeg -i input.mov -f dash -seg_duration 6 -hls_playlist true output.mbd


    


    The above (simplified) command outputs multiple files, in addition to output.mdb (e.g. actual segments, master.m3u8, etc...)

    


    Is there a way to get each produced file into their individual and separate output streams ?

    I'm trying to build a transcoder in Node.js running in Google Cloud, with the idea being that it writes directly to a Google Storage through a writable stream. I can only create a stream per file, but since the number of files is dynamic, I'm not sure how to obtain a stream from each file.
